Talk at the study day of the University TU Dresden, Licht_Licht_Licht
Within the context of the exhibition „Licht-visuelle Energien“ (light-visual energies) of the study day organized by the faculty of architecture of the technical university of Dresden, the talk „Lichtkunst in Architektur und Stadtraum“ (light art in architecture and urban space) will be offered by A. Zwicker at 05/15/12 in the ALTANA-gallery in the Görges-Bau.
Light-Sound-Show, Altmarkt 15, Cottbus
On the occasion of the handover of the newly renovated building Altmarkt 15 in Cottbus, there is a Light-Sound-Show in the evening of the 05/31/08.
LICHT IM SCHLOSS (Light in the castle), Lingnerschloss Dresden, 05/15/07-05/17/07
The Project „LICHT IM SCHLOSS“ will be realized inside of and around the castle Lingnerschloss in Dresden from the 16. to the 17. of July 2005. Light and media artists get the opportunity to present their work to the public in the morbid, not renovated rooms and the exterior of this historical building at the hillside of the river Elbe. Light installations, projections and similar media shall set the building in the right setting, in new light. Project management: Zwicker Lichtkunst
Light installation "Scan 45-02", February 13, Altmarkt Dresden
In February 1945, several funeral piles were erected at Dresden’s old market (Altmarkt), to burn the victims of the air attacks. 60 years later, the light installation SCAN 45/02, located at one of these spots, is supposed to be thought-provoking. The measured field on the ground is „cut out“ by powerful projectors from aloft, associating a scan process. This impression is intensified by an appropriate, minimal sound field, that provides the acoustic background. A historic moment, burnt into the original pavement, brought to public attention as a symbol of light.
