KunstLichtTor (art light gate) Bochum
The gate Number XIII, Castroper Street in Bochum is going to be implemented as a permanent exhibition within the project „KunstLichtTore“. A minimalist light field consisting of 165 white LED-light panels underneath the steel joists of this railroad bridge reacts in real time to the noise of the trains going across.
LICHT IM SCHLOSS II, 13.06.06
The project „Licht im Schloss II“ (light in the castle II) will be realized for the second time inside of and around the castle Lingnerschloss in Dresden at the 06/13/06. Light and media artists get the opportunity to present their work to the public in the morbid, not renovated rooms and the exterior of this historical building at the hillside of the river Elbe. Light installations, projections and similar media shall set the building in the right setting, in new light. The LICHTIMSCHLOSSFEST (festival of light in the castle) will start at 6 pm. Within the context of the exhibition „Licht-visuelle Energien“ (light-visual energies) of the study day organized by the faculty of architecture of the technical university of Dresden, the talk „Lichtkunst in Architektur und Stadtraum“ (light art in architecture and urban space) will be offered by A. Zwicker at 05/15/12 in the ALTANA-gallery in the Görges-Bau.
