Analysis of variants of appropriate lamps as a substitute for gas-powered historical candelabra in conservation areas
At an exemplary selection of typical late nineteenth-century street premises, principal street lighting options in accordance with the current DIN standards were examined for their design relevance. The considered types of lamps range from the electrification of existing historical candelabra up to modern technical lamps with LED bulbs. Advantages and disadvantages of the different types were presented graphically and in tabular form.
