Zwicker Lichtkunst

A transparent, illuminated water curtain was installed underneath the historic bridge. Sun light and strong spots in the twilight turn the water into a white, moving light wall. This artificiality is contrasted with the natural sounds similar to waterfalls, which draw attention to the work already from a distance. The sounds give the work a subliminal acoustic dimension. The static bridge disguises itself with a roaring water curtain and appears as a surreal light creature. The brain of the observer cannot really assign the illuminated water flow – the artwork stays unreal like a Morgana.
