Zwicker Lichtkunst

The basic idea of the design is to redefine the disappearing town center and relate it to the important history of the community Schleißheim. The two areas “Bürgerplatz” and “Unterführung” form an axis, which extends to the palace garden. We take graphical elements from this historic reference (abstracted monogram of the city arms, ground plan of the castle area). The modern translation with the help of light art bring these to the present and offers the inhabitants of the city possibilities for identification with both the urban area and the history.
